Provide a Home

Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to building, renovating, and repairing homes with and for families living in poor conditions and of modest means. For more than 30 years, we have focused on providing solutions to the growing affordable housing crisis in the Newberg area.

Raise Awareness

At Habitat for Humanity, we advocate to change policies and systems so that we can eliminate barriers to adequate, affordable housing.

Building is part of the solution, but the less visible aspects of housing are just as important. Housing laws, regulations, rules, and systems affecting land and the built environment are equally critical components.

Save the Earth

Shopping at and supporting your Newberg ReStore helped divert over 34,000 items from the landfill in 2023 – providing an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep materials out of the waste stream while funding Habitat’s community improvement work.

Build Community

The generosity of our community partners has enabled our Habitat for Humanity affiliate to help 216 people (as of December 2024) build and purchase safe, decent, and affordable homes. Our community partners do more than help build homes; they are providing a brighter future for families through an affordable path to homeownership and allow others to stay in their homes through repairs.
